London boroughs fighting musical terrorism
In a huge push to ensure the safety of chemically enhanced ravers all over the London, police are targeting live music performances that don’t comply with new strict discloser rules.
Detective Superintendent Dave Eyles of London states:
Music promotions attract people who have a propensity to use violence. That’s not speculation. We have a duty to prevent that from happening.
In line with this new danger the new regulations have already been used to shut down a daytime charity concert of school bands.
If you live in London and want to hold a musical event, even of the insidious and outburst-prone kind where marches by JP Sousa are played, you would do well by filling out form 969 (word doc) from the police.
